Our Beloved MFNHS

         Fresh breeze, cold air touching my face, sun rays through me. The moment I open my eyes, the first step I made, I know I was about to  uncover a new discovery and a new journey to success.

          School has always been every students second home. A home where you can express yourself more, where you can show who you really are. School is also a place where you can learn new things, to learn how to have a healthy living, learn how to be independent and of course, learn how to be yourself in every special way.

          Manolo Fortich National High School, my beloved school and my second home. In every step I make inside this campus is equivalent in every stepping stone I'm building to reach my success. MFNHS is always there to support me in my dreams. The place where I can explore more about other peoples opinion in life, other peoples lifestyles, and other peoples story to share and must be heard. High school life was always your schooling life's climax. And it is where you can unfold different kinds of journey's together with the persons you are sharing your experience with.

          In this school, I met a lot of wonderful persons that I never expected to be someone super special in my life. Persons who will be by my side every time I need them, persons who always listen to me in my everyday problem, and persons who you can call a friend. And all you can say is, it would always be your pleasure to meet them.

Personalities to Unfold

      As a student in Journalism, there, I witnessed different kinds of personalities that students may have. I also include myself. Inside our small classroom, you’ll see a leader, a joker, a diva, a popstar, a rebel, a wallflower, a smarty pants, gamers, bookworms and many more. Every time I enter the room it feels like I went into another dimension seeking for a new adventure. It’s like a video game, that you already wanted to give up, but you still have the chance to continue the game and level up.

       In the two years of being with my classmates, we discover new kinds of personalities. First, the continue-ist, these are the students who continue the phrase, verse, or even the song lyrics, they even answer in chorus. Second, the competitors, these are the students who compete for higher grades. Third, the challengers, these students are like the competitors, but they only accept challenges for fun. Fourth, the ‘my friend’ students. These students will call you “my friend” whenever they want something from you. Lastly, the shusher, these students are always annoyed whenever the room is every noisy. To stop the noise, they’ll just have to “sshhhhhh” everyone to shut up.

     The thing is, whatever your personality be, you’re in the school to learn, study, experience new things and to have fun in any circumstances. Don’t forget to respect the teachers, staffs and the school itself. Now, the question is, which student are you?
